About the Doolittle Raiders logo:

At the top of the Doolittle Raider logo you can see a Mitchell B-25 bomber taking off. With the Mitchell B-25 the raid was carried out

The seven Maltese crosses (dark blue) are from the logo of the 17th Bombardment Group, based in Pendleton, Oregon, from which most of the Doolittle raiders were selected. (4 Squadrons)

In the logo, the 34th Bomb Squadron (based at Lexington County Airport) is represented by the Thunderbird in the logo. The bird is blue and drawn in an old Indian style.

The 95th Bombardment Squadron (based at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska) is represented in the logo by the kicking mule on a blue background.

The 37th Bomb Squadron (based in Pendleton, Oregon) is represented in the logo by the tiger's head.

The fourth image, this one with the winged helmet on a blue background, represents the 89th Reconaissance Squadron. They were based at the March Field Airbase in California and were attached to the 17th Bombardment group.

Toujour Au Danger is clear. Always in danger, and they really were during the raid on Tokyo/Japan.

The use of the blue color refers to the color of the sky.

The Doolittle Raid logo may be registered and protected by copyright. Despite having contacted the organization several times with a request to use the logo for this website, I received no answer. Registration number 3787106 with serial number 77822019 and that since May 11, 2010. However, I think the copyright and protection expired on July 17, 2019. It was not renewed. But just to be sure, this entry. The logo belongs to the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders Association, Inc.
